3500/05 Size and Slot:
Full size frame: 19 inch EIA frame with 14 available module slots.
Mini frame: 12 inch frame with 7 available module slots.
3500/05 Design Features:
Allow various 3500 modules to communicate with each other and allocate power to each module as needed using System1 software and power.
The design meets the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute API670 standard and is suitable for mechanical protection applications.
3500/05 installation form:
Panel installation: Install the frame into the rectangular opening on the panel, and connect and access the I/O module from the back.
Frame installation: Install the frame into a 19 inch EIA rail, and also connect and access it from the back.
Wall panel installation (full size frame only): Install the frame on a wall or panel that cannot be connected from the back, and connect and access it from the front.
3500/05 Power Supply and Interface:
The power supply and frame interface module must be installed in the two leftmost slots (for full-size frames).
The remaining slots can be used to install any module.
3500/05 Compatibility and Requirements:
The framework with internal safety barriers requires the installation of the 3500/04-01 internal safety barrier grounding module, which requires a dedicated framework location.
The A01 system panel installation option in the 3500/93 system display device is not compatible with the 3500/05 mini frame.
3500/05 mini frame without wall panel installation option.
When the 3500 mini frame is installed in the EIA frame, a 144863-01 19 inch EIA adapter panel is required.
3500/05 System Features:
Self detection and fault-tolerant design: The 3500 system has self detection and fault-tolerant design, which can be configured with multiple redundancies, ranging from adding a second fully redundant power supply to a complete triple modular redundancy (TMR) configuration. It can be used for both selected channels and all channels, fully meeting the most critical task applications.
Modular design: The highly modular design of the 3500 system gives it flexibility and scalability. Different modules can be added or replaced as needed.
Online status monitoring: The 3500 series monitoring and protection system provides continuous online status monitoring and protection for your unit equipment.
3500/05 application scenarios:
Mechanical protection application: The 3500 system is suitable for monitoring, protection, and analysis of large rotating equipment such as TSI systems for large thermal power turbine units, monitoring systems for water turbine units, main compressors in the petrochemical industry, blast furnace fans, sintering main exhaust fans, and TRTs in the steel industry.
