3500/25 Main functions:
Signal conversion: Convert the keysignal from the proximity probe or magnetic sensor into a digital keyphase signal to indicate when the keyphase markings on the shaft coincide with the keyphase sensor.
Signal transmission: The converted digital keyphase signal is transmitted to the monitor module in the 3500 rack, providing accurate time measurement for each revolution or multiple events of the rotating shaft or gear.
3500/25 Technical Specifications:
Design: Half height, dual channel module, each module can receive two signals from eddy current sensors or electromagnetic sensors.
Signal range: The input signal range of non insulated I/O modules is -0.8V to -21.0V, while the input signal range of insulated I/O modules is+5V to -11V.
Power consumption: During normal operation, the power consumption is 3.2 watts.
Output: There are two buffered key phase output signals, which can be obtained through coaxial connectors or European connectors on the front panel and back of the frame.
3500/25 System Compatibility:
3500 mechanical protection system: In normal configuration, it can accept up to four key signals; In pairing configuration, up to eight key signals can be accepted.
Compatibility: Compared to previous designs, the 3500/25 module provides higher keyphasor signal processing capabilities while maintaining full downward compatibility with existing keyphasor modules.
3500/25 application scenarios:
Monitoring and Diagnosis: The 3500/25 Keyphasor Module enables the 3500 Monitoring System to measure shaft speed and vector characteristics, such as 1X vibration amplitude and phase, thereby assisting users in accurate mechanical condition monitoring and fault diagnosis.
3500/25 indicator lights:
OK indicator light: This indicator light will light up when a fault is detected within the keyphasor module.
TX/RX indicator light: When the keyphasor module communicates with the Rack Interface Module (RIM), this indicator light will emit an indication.
3500/25 Operation Configuration:
The pairing configuration requires two consecutive monitoring positions in the upper/lower half slot position or two half slot positions. The four Keyphasor modules will provide four output channels and accept four primary and four backup input channels (one for each module). Users can configure a single unpaired keyphasor in this way (by ordering two 2-channel or one 1-channel and one 2-channel option).
