3500/34 Overview:
The TMR relay module uses three independent relays to provide one relay output, ensuring sufficient redundancy to maintain normal system operation in the event of a system failure.
This module is used in conjunction with a dedicated TMR framework interface module and three monitor modules, providing a 3-to-2 voting output, further enhancing the reliability and security of the system.
3500/34 Function and Features:
Each relay in the TMR relay module contains “alarm drive logic”, which is programmed using “AND” and “OR” logic and can be applied to alarm inputs (warning and danger) from any monitor channel or several monitor channels in the framework.
The alarm drive logic is programmed by the 3500 rack configuration software according to different application needs, providing a high degree of flexibility and customization.
The TMR relay module consists of two parts: two TMR relay modules and one TMR relay input/output (I/O) module. Through programming, two TMR relay modules can simultaneously perform the same function, providing redundant support.
3500/34 specific configuration:
The TMR relay module provides three independent alarm contact signals for each of the four relay channels based on the user programmed alarm driving logic.
The TMR relay I/O module consists of 12 relays, divided into 4 channel groups with 3 relays in each group, providing a 3-to-2 relay voting function for the 4 relay channels.
If the OK status of a data channel is NOT OK, the alarm contact signal associated with that channel will be set to invalid to ensure the safety of the system’s faults.
