3500/90 Function Description:
The communication gateway module is used to digitally transmit selected status and current value data from the 3500 system to process control systems, historical data systems, factory computers, and other related systems.
This module supports multiple industry standard protocols and allows for the installation of multiple communication gateway modules in the same system to achieve redundant communication or to communicate with multiple systems using different protocols simultaneously.
