3500 Interface Module:
The Bently Nevada 3500/54-03-00 Interface Module is an interface device compatible with the Bently Nevada 3500 Monitoring System.
3500 Transient Data Interface (TDI):
It is the interface between the 3500 monitoring system and Bently Nevada’s System 1 mechanical management software. TDI combines the functionality of the 3500/20 rack interface module with the communication processor.
A set of front and rear connectors for connecting and fixing interface modules.
3500 plug-in product line:
The IDEC S3TL plug-in product line comes in various sizes and can accommodate wire gauges from AWG 26 to AWG 8. Each size has one or two wires, depending on the part number. Each plug is equipped with an electrical insulation cover.
3500 Input Power Options:
High voltage AC power supply: 175 to 264 Vac rms (247 to 373 Vac, pk), 47 to 63 Hz.
Low voltage AC power supply: 85 to 132 Vac rms (120 to 188 Vac, pk), 47 to 63 Hz.
High voltage DC power supply: 88 to 140 Vdc.
Low voltage DC power supply: 20 to 30 Vdc.
3500 Safety Features:
Over limit protection: For all power supply types, low voltage will not damage the power supply or PIM (power input module). Overrange voltage will cause the fuse on the PIM to open.
3500 indicator lights:
Power OK LED: When the power is working properly, the light will light up.
3500 Grounding Requirements:
Single point grounding wire connection: To avoid grounding loops, the system must provide a single point grounding. The power input module provides you with a switch to distinguish where the control system is grounded.
3500 installation and configuration:
Installation version: Installing pre version R AC power input modules (PIMs) and/or pre version M power modules requires specific voltage inputs.
Switch settings: If the system is equipped with two power supplies, the two switches need to be adjusted to the same position. When the power input module leaves the factory, the switch is set to OFF.
