3500 System Overview
The 3500 series system provides continuous and permanent monitoring functions, suitable for rotating and reciprocating machinery in various industries, especially for automatic shutdown machinery protection applications that require extremely high reliability and availability. The system is designed to fully meet the American Petroleum Institute (API) 670 standard, which is also the most widely used technical specification for mechanical protection systems in the world.
3500 Features and Specifications
Vibration monitoring: The 3500 system can monitor the vibration of large rotating machinery, such as steam turbines, water turbines, fans, compressors, turbine expanders, electric motors, and generators.
3500 Temperature Monitoring: The 3500/65 module is capable of processing signals from RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors) and TCs (Thermocouples) for monitoring temperature or temperature differences, typically used for metal temperature monitoring of radial or thrust bearings.
3500 position monitoring: The 3500/45 module is a four channel device that can obtain data from proximity sensors, rotary position sensors (RPT), etc., for mechanical condition monitoring.
3500 Proximitor Monitoring: The 3500/40 module serves as an I/O module for the Proximitor Monitor, used to control the mechanical condition monitoring system and receive data from proximity sensors manufactured by Bentley Nevada.
3500 Transient Data Interface: The 3500/22M module is used to monitor seismic activity and is part of the 3500 series, belonging to the Transient Data Interface (TDI).
3500 Keyphasor Module: The 3500/25 module is a half height, dual channel module used to transmit keysignal signals to the monitor module in the 3500 rack. When the keyphasor markings on the shaft match the preset values in the monitor, corresponding protective measures are triggered.
3500 System Display: The 3500/93 system display module is designed to meet the API 670 standard, providing local or remote visual display of all 3500 mechanical protection system information, including system event lists.
3500 High Voltage Power Module: The 3500/15 module is a high-voltage AC/DC power module used as the power supply for the Bentley Nevada mechanical condition monitoring system.
