Two channel module: This module is a two channel module that can receive signals from eddy current sensors or magnetic sensors to determine shaft speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction.
Alarm function: The module compares these measured values with user programmable alarm set points and generates alarms when the set points are violated. Alarm points can be configured through software and support primary and secondary alarms. Alarm delays can also be programmed.
Programming and Configuration: Using the 3500 rack configuration software for programming, modules can be configured into four different types, including speed monitoring, set point alarm and speed band alarm, zero speed indication, rotor acceleration alarm or reverse indication.
Peak holding function: The module has a peak holding function, which can store the maximum speed, maximum reverse speed, or number of reversals that the machine has reached, and these peaks can be reset by the user.
