Enhanced Keyphase Module Bently Nevada 3500/25
3500/25 Basic Features:
This is a half height, dual channel module designed to transmit key signals to the monitor module in a 3500 rack.
It detects the alignment of the keyphasor markings on the shaft with the keyphasor sensor through magnetic sensors or proximity probes, and converts the input signal into a digital keyphasor signal.
3500/25 Function Description:
For conventional settings, the 3500 mechanical protection system can accept up to four key signals; For pairing configurations, a maximum of eight key signals can be accepted.
The event pulses per revolution or multiple revolutions of a rotating shaft or gear (referred to as keysignals) are used to accurately detect timing, allowing the 3500 monitoring module and external diagnostic tools to measure shaft speed and vector characteristics, such as 1X vibration amplitude and phase.
Features of the 3500/25 Enhanced Keyphase Module:
Maintain full backward compatibility with existing Keyphasor modules used in legacy systems, while providing higher Keyphasor signal processing capabilities.
The revised 149369-01 module completely replaces the Keyphasor module PWA 125792-01.
3500/25 Operation Configuration:
The pairing configuration needs to be performed at two consecutive monitoring positions in the upper/lower half slot position or two half slot positions.
The four Keyphasor modules will provide four output channels and accept four primary and four backup input channels (one for each module).
It is also feasible to set up three Keyphasor modules, including two coupled and one unpaired.
Isolation Keyphasor Input/Output Module:
Suitable for situations where multiple devices are simultaneously connected to the Keyphasor signal and need to be isolated from other systems (such as control systems).
Although primarily designed for magnetic pickup applications, isolated I/O modules are compatible with Proximitor * applications and provide isolation as long as external power is provided.
