This module is a half height, dual channel module used to provide keyphase signals to the monitor modules in a 3500 rack.
The module receives input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups and converts these signals into digital keyphasor signals.
This digital signal is used to indicate the precise time when the keyphase marker on the shaft passes through the keyphase probe.

This module is compatible with Bently Nevada’s 3500 mechanical protection system, can accept up to four keyphasor signals for normal configuration, and can configure up to eight keyphasor signals.

The keyphasor signal is a pulse signal from a rotating shaft or gear, which is used to provide precise timing measurements at one or multiple revolutions per revolution.

Allow the 3500 monitor module and external diagnostic equipment to measure vector parameters such as 1X amplitude and phase.

In applications that require system phase shifter input redundancy (TMR), the 3500 system should use two phase shifter modules.
A system with four or more keyphasor inputs can use pairing configuration, provided that there are no more than four main keyphasor input signals.

The module has buffered sensor outputs that can be obtained through coaxial or European connectors on the front or back of the frame.
The front panel of the module also includes LED OK indicator lights and TX/RX indicator lights to indicate the module status and communication status.
