This protection system includes three VPRO boards, forming a triple redundancy design, enhancing the reliability and security of the system. The TREG board in the module separated from the turbine control system is capable of controlling the trip solenoid valve.
The IS200VPROH2B board is also responsible for monitoring various key parameters, including voltage, current, and temperature. When any of these parameters exceeds the preset safety limit, the circuit board will quickly trigger the circuit breaker to shut down the turbine, effectively preventing damage to the turbine and protecting operators from potential harm.
IS200VPROH2B also has nine thermocouple inputs, mainly used for exhaust over temperature protection, as well as three analog current inputs and backup synchronous check protection functions. These features further enhance its functionality and reliability as a critical protective component.
