Highly reliable and responsive: Bentley’s 3500 series mechanical detection system’s electronic overspeed detection system is a highly reliable and responsive redundant tachometer system, providing reliable overspeed protection for mechanical equipment.
Redundant design: The 3500 framework of the overspeed detection system requires redundant power supplies to ensure that the system can continue to operate in the event of a power failure.
Input signal range: Each overspeed detection module receives a signal from an eddy current sensor or magnetic sensor, with an input signal range of+10.0V to -24.0V. The signal exceeds this range and is restricted within the module.
Applicable sensors: Suitable for Bentley 3300 8mm eddy current sensors, 3300 16mm high-temperature eddy current sensors (HTPS), 7200 5mm, 8mm, 11mm, and 14mm eddy current sensors, 3300 RAM eddy current sensors, or magnetic sensors.
3500/53 133388-01 Function Description:
Overspeed protection: The module receives a speed pulse input signal from a proximity sensor or magneto electric sensor and uses this input signal to drive an alarm. Provide four types of fast response alarm relay outputs to achieve machine protection purposes.
Configuration: The module can be configured as a 2 out of 2 or 3 out of 2 (recommended) voting system to increase system reliability. Use the 3500 rack configuration software to set alarm setpoints.
Information provision: Drive alarms by continuously comparing the current machine speed with the configured alarm set points, providing important machine speed information for operators and maintenance personnel.
