3500/20 Installation and Configuration:
The RIM must be installed in the first slot of the rack, near the power supply.
Supports compatibility with Bently Nevada’s external communication processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX.
3500/20 Function Features:
Although RIM provides some common features for the entire rack, it is not part of the critical monitoring path. The operational status of RIM will not affect the normal operation of the entire monitoring system.
Each rack requires an RIM to ensure proper communication and functionality of the system.
For applications that require three module redundancy (TMR), the 3500 system requires a TMR version of the RIM. In addition to all standard RIM functions, TMR RIM also performs “monitor channel comparison” to enhance system reliability and safety.
