The PM864/PM865 processor unit, in single configuration, has performance data which theoretically peaks at twice the performance compared to the PM860. The useful sustained performance improvement is, however, a bit lower and somewhat dependent on the actual application program but can be expected to be 10 to 50% compared to PM860. In redundant configuration the execution performance is somewhat lower than in single configuration.Performance of the PM858 processor unit is 0.5 times the performance of PM862.Performance of the PM862 processor unit is 0.7 times the performance of PM864.Performance of the PM866 processor unit is 1.4 times the performance of PM864.
