As a transient data interface module, it is responsible for connecting the 3500 monitoring system with Bentley system 1 mechanical management software.
This module combines the functions of 3500/20 rack interface module (RIM) and communication processor, such as tdxnet, and can continuously collect steady-state and transient waveform data, and transmit the data to the host computer software through Ethernet.
138607-01 3500/22M features:
Data acquisition: in addition to the standard static data acquisition, the module also has the ability to collect transient or dynamic data, which is realized through the optional channel enabling disk.
Versatility: TDI provides general functions for the whole framework. Although it is not a part of the key monitoring channel, it is essential for the correct and routine operation of the entire monitoring system.
Redundant configuration: for triple modular redundancy (TMR) applications, the 3500 system requires TDI in the form of TMR. TMR TDI has the “monitor channel comparison function”, which can continuously compare the outputs of three redundant monitors and issue error indications when a mismatch is detected.
138607-01 3500/22M physical and installation:
The TDI module must be located in the first slot of the 3500 rack (next to the power module).
The purpose of the LED on the front panel of the module and the hardware conversion switches are the same as those of the 3500/20, except that the address selection switch has 127 addresses.
