The digital input module is used to receive digital signal inputs from external devices and transmit them to the main processor of the Triconex system for processing. The 8120E has multiple input channels and can receive multiple digital signal inputs simultaneously. The external terminal module is a component used to connect external devices, which can receive digital signal outputs from the Triconex system and transmit them to external devices. It also has multiple output channels and can send multiple digital signal outputs simultaneously.

In terms of electrical characteristics, the 8120E power supply equipment has a wide input voltage range (100V-240V AC), an output voltage of 24V DC, an input frequency of 50-60Hz, an output power of 120W, and can operate stably within the working temperature range of -20 ℃ to+70 ℃. In addition, the shell of 8120E is made of aluminum alloy material, with a protection level of IP65, ensuring the durability and safety of the product.

The 8120E mainframe can support two power modules, three main processors, two backup batteries, and various communication modules such as TCM, UCM, NCM, ACM, SMM, etc. Its I/O module can have up to 5 logical slots, each containing two physical slots. The TriBus communication bus is used for communication between the 8120E enhanced mainframe and the main processor, with a speed of up to 1000Mbps.
