TRICONEX 8120E Redundant control system
Based on the Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) structure, 8120E provides highly sophisticated, error free, and uninterrupted process control to ensure that the system does not fail due to a single point of failure. 8120E is mainly used in various industrial automation scenarios, such as petrochemical, coal chemical, local chemical, and railway transportation industries.
The 8120E supports multiple series of modules, including digital input modules and external terminal modules. The digital input module is used to receive digital signal inputs from external devices and transmit them to the main processor of the Triconex system for processing, while the external terminal module is used to connect external devices, receive digital signal outputs from the Triconex system, and transmit them to external devices.
The 8120E also adopts advanced switch mode power supply technology, which has efficient, stable, and reliable performance, as well as long lifespan and high reliability. At the same time, it supports Profibus DP and Can open communication functions, which can communicate with the upper computer and achieve monitoring.
In the case of significant fluctuations in power supply voltage, the 8120E can still ensure stable DC bus voltage, even if the voltage drops below 80% of the rated voltage, it can still operate normally.
