VIBRO METER VM600 CMC16 Front end data collection unit
The inputs of the VM600 CMC16 are fully programmable and can accept inputs that represent velocity, phase reference, vibration (acceleration, velocity, or displacement), dynamic pressure, air gap rotors, and polar sections, as well as any dynamic or any quasistatic signal. In addition, signals can be acquired on the IOC 16T from an adjacent mechanically protected input card (MPC 4) via the “raw bus” and “Tacho” bus of the VM600, or externally via a screw terminal connector.
The VM600 CMC16 module also provides signal conditioning and electromagnetic compatibility protection, and allows routing of inputs to the CMC 16. These include 16 programmable tracking anti aliasing filters and analog-to-digital converters (ADC).
The VM600 CMC16 has an EKIP Touch feature, allowing all protection features to be set in a few simple steps from a wide touchscreen display. If the circuit breaker trips, the operator can reset it manually or electrically. The module also has an inverse long delay trip function with the t=k/l2 type, the threshold and trip time can be fine tuned with very high accuracy directly from the display. An early warning threshold can also be set before protection causes a trip.
