WOODWARD 8200-1302 Digital governor system
The 8200-1302 governor has an automatic start sequence for hot start and cold start, and comes with a temperature input option, which can be flexibly configured according to actual needs. It is also equipped with critical speed avoidance functions on three speed bands to ensure the stability of the equipment during startup and operation. In addition, WOODWARD 8200-1302 also has ten external alarm inputs and ten external DI trip inputs, which can monitor the operating status of the equipment in real time, detect and handle faults in a timely manner.
The 8200-1302 governor also provides trip indication and related RTC timestamps for tripping and alarm events, making it convenient for users to troubleshoot and record faults. It supports dual speed and load dynamics control, and can automatically adjust the speed according to load changes to ensure stable operation of the equipment within the required speed range. Meanwhile, the peak speed indication function of overspeed trip can help users detect overspeed situations in a timely manner and take corresponding measures.
The 8200-1302 also has a zero speed detection function, which can accurately determine whether the device is in a stopped state and prevent misoperation. The remote droop and frequency dead zone control functions can adjust the operating characteristics of the equipment and optimize its performance according to actual needs.
The 8200-1302 governor provides three normal operating modes, including configuration, operation, and calibration modes, to facilitate user configuration, debugging, and maintenance of the equipment. It also includes two redundant speed inputs, which can accept various signal input methods such as magnetic pickup units, eddy current probes, or electric eddy current probes, improving the adaptability and flexibility of the equipment. At the same time, it also has analog input function, which can be configured as any of multiple functions to meet the different needs of users.
The 8200-1302 is equipped with a Modbus communication port, allowing communication with other control systems and devices, enabling data exchange and remote monitoring. This allows users to easily integrate the governor into existing control systems and perform remote configuration and monitoring.
