The CP451-50 module is also equipped with two mechanical keys to configure MTU (maximum transmission unit) for different types of I/O modules. These two mechanical keys each have 6 positions and provide a total of 36 different configuration options. The configuration process can be completed using a screwdriver. The MTU module can be installed on a standard DIN rail and has a mechanical latch to lock the MTU onto the DIN rail. At the same time, MTU is equipped with a mechanical locking mechanism to lock the module in its position and keep it in its initialized state until it is locked in the correct position.
